Heading to the Highlands for vacation in early July? Be sure to visit the Mountains in Bloom Garden Festival July 7-10, 20111. This annual event supports the Bascom nonprofit visual arts center. Tours of 5 mountain gardens in the Highlands Country Club area of Highlands, a flower show with flower arrangements, horticulture and photography divisions, a lecture by noted interior decorator Suzanne Rheinstein and works of American master Frank Stella will be highlighted. Some of Frank Stella's works to be shown are from a private Florida collection, not usually seen outside the collector's residence.
